    Abstract: A method of computation for dynamic coupled thermoelasticity is developed. This approach has the advantage of applying an implicit algorithm to the elasticity equation and an unconditionally stable explicit algorithm to the heat conduction equation. As a result, the coupled matrix equations are “symmetric” and “profiled.” In addition, unconditional stability is sought.
