Abstract: An important aspect in the design of a Solar Central Receiver system is the distribution of the solar flux on the receiver. In this paper, we present information for the Central Receiver Pilot Plant, Solar One, at Barstow, California, on the time variation of the receiver flux during cloud passage, at sunrise and during the day.
