    Abstract: Tension tests were conducted on an aluminum alloy 2017-T4 under hydrostatic pressures up to 50,000 psi. Effects of hydrostatic compression on the plastic stress-strain relations, the radius of curvature of the profile, and the diameter at the neck are reported in this Note.
