    Abstract: The radial oscillations of multiple gas bubbles in an incompressible liquid bounded by plane solid or free surfaces are analyzed. Derivation of the normal mode frequencies and mode shapes of two, three, and four bubble configurations in an unbounded liquid illustrate the method of analysis. Expressions for the oscillation frequencies of bubbles near free and solid surfaces are derived.
