    J. H. Griffin
    DOI: 10.1115/1.3230256
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The resonant response of a turbine airfoil attenuated through use of a Coulomb damper is analyzed. Parameters that control the damper’s effectiveness are identified and characteristics of an optimized system are described. The results of the analysis are confirmed by laboratory tests.
