Abstract: Application of the new cumulative damage model to two sets of fatigue crack growth data is presented. It is shown that the model can describe the statistical features of crack growth including mean and variance of time to reach a specified crack length, cumulative distribution of time to reach a specified crack length, and sample function behavior. Moreover, this is done with very little effort.
