| description abstract | The Eighth International Conference on the Properties of Steam has adopted a new skeleton table and formulation for viscosity. The formulation is valid from the triple point to 1100 K (∼2000 R) and pressures to 100 MPa (∼15,000 psia). Comparisons are made between the calculated and the skeletal table values, and also between the new values and those in the 1967 ASME Steam Tables. A set of figures and tables in both English and SI units are presented to replace those in the Steam Tables. Sources for computer programs are given. | |
