description abstractA method of frequency response conversion to transient response is applied to terminated fluid lines. The method can be used to solve transmission line problems with various input waveforms and terminations. Some typical results for circular lines are presented in non-dimensional terms. The results show that the transient response is a function of a characteristic number which depends on the fluid properties and the geometry of the line.
