description abstractIn this paper, a method based upon the use of the Brunovsky canonical form [1] is presented for the design of control systems incorporating deadbeat reduced-order discrete-time observers for a class of linear multivariable discrete-time plants with in-accessible state vectors. The design method is illustrated by the synthesis of a regulator for a multi-input multi-output third-order plant.
