description abstractThis paper describes and evaluates a DDC experiment on the superheating loop of a 250 MW power-station. The methods used for identification and control are the so-called modern methods: nonlinear filtering, quadratic optimization and optimal decoupling. In addition to examination of the regulators obtained, we also discuss the problems encountered in applying these methods and their solutions.
