    Abstract: With the use of the random cell model developed in a previous paper, an expression for predicting filter efficiency of a fibrous filter is obtained. Comparisons between theory and experiments are made. It is shown that the use of the random cell model also leads to a more realistic prediction of the filter efficiency, thus further enhancing utility of this model.
