    The Influence of Constitutive Relationships on Stress-Redistribution Times in Creeping Structures

    Source: Journal of Applied Mechanics:;1976:;volume( 043 ):;issue: 001::page 173
    Author:
    J. J. Williams
    DOI: 10.1115/1.3423774
    Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
    Abstract: The influence of related constitutive equations upon the stress-redistribution times for a simple two-bar structure is such that the time-hardening model is unlikely to provide reliable estimates of the stress-redistribution time for structures composed of a wider class of materials.
