description abstract | Due to the rapid growth in LSI (large-scale integration) technology, it is now possible to consider implementing a discrete (digital) single-loop programmable controller. This paper discusses some software aspects of digital single-loop controllers for industrial processes. Based on the S-shaped response pattern typical in many industrial processes, a simple algorithm for a finite-time settling controller with an observer is proposed. | |
