    Holographic Interferometry Applied to Rotating Disks

    Source: Journal of Applied Mechanics:;1975:;volume( 042 ):;issue: 002::page 499
    Author:
    Yu Chen
    DOI: 10.1115/1.3423611
    Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
    Abstract: To measure vibration of a rotating disk by holographic interferometry, the double exposure of holograms must be taken at precisely coincidental positions of the disk. A technique of accomplishing the precise repositioning of the disk after the first hologram is taken is described in this Note.
