| description abstract | The steady and pulsatile flow of blood through small rigid, circular tubes has been analysed by a microcontinuum approach. The exact solutions for velocity and cell rotational velocity are obtained. A comparison of the theoretical velocity profiles with the experimentally determined profiles for both steady and pulsatile blood flow is quite encouraging. | |
