Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: A new interdisciplinary gear lubrication theory is hypothesized herein using a stepped branching technique, to consider the various technological parameters in their logical echelonic order of importance as a result of the lubrication and wear regimes that geared mechanisms may be subjected to in modern practical operational power transmission systems.
