Abstract: The classic work of Whitcomb and Milliken on the steady-state cornering of automobiles is generalized to include a simplified two-wheeled vehicle. The relationship which results, similar to that of Whitcomb and Milliken, gives the radius of the path of the vehicle in terms of vehicle parameters, vehicle speed, and steering head angle.
