| description abstract | A three-dimensional photographic study of the nonrectilinear ascent of an air bubble in water is presented. A geometric model is developed which describes the trajectory in terms of a transformed coordinate system. The parameters of the model which describe the departure from linearity are found to be dependent on the equivalent spherical radius of the bubble. | |
