Abstract: The February issue of the Journal of Solar Energy Engineering ushers in a new year that hopefully will find renewable energy having an increased role in meeting global energy needs and reducing the environmental impact of the use of fossil fuels. There will be several changes in the editorial staff of the Journal this year and an exciting new forum for authors to publish on-going work.
