description abstractA method is presented for the rapid approximation of plant templates for the Quantitative Feedback Theory (QFT) control design methodology. The approach is based on the convex hull of the template, and works for a wide variety of system uncertainty. The method presented will work for systems in which the model is not affine in the uncertain parameters. It represents an algorithmic implementation of a critical step in the QFT design methodology.
