Abstract: Linear transverse vibrations and wave motions of a spinning membrane have been studied by Lamb and Southwell [1]. This Note gives an exact solution for nonlinear, flexural, asymmetric waves for a special case of a membrane spinning with two nodal diameters and no nodal circles.
