    Abstract: A recent study suggested that the use of numerical integration methods would generally lead to the erroneous prediction of chaotic behavior for an unforced Duffing’s oscillator. It is shown herein that appropriate implementations of such methods lead to accurate, nonchaotic computations of the associated response.
