description abstractThe acoustic response of a hard walled duct with a partially absorptive boundary condition has been modeled in state space form. The system states of this model are not directly measurable. An observer is developed to obtain the state estimates. Numerical simulations are presented and convergence of the observer is discussed. Different integration schemes are compared and comments are made for eventual real-time application.
