Abstract: A boundary integral equation formulation for dynamic poroelasticity in the frequency domain is presented. The formulation is accomplished using the solid displacements and the fluid stress as independent variables. The integral representation of the fluid stress is obtained using a fundamental solution corresponding to a combination of body forces applied in the solid and in the fluid.
