Abstract: The Conference met at the United Engineering Center, New York City, October 7–10, 1963, with eleven countries participating. These were: Canada, Czechoslovakia, Federal Republic of Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Norway, Sweden, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, United Kingdom, and the United States of America. This report summarizes what went on at the Sixth Conference, presents a brief historical review of the general development of the Steam Tables Conference, and assesses its purposes in the light of changing circumstances.
