description abstractIn this paper, we apply and extend Young’s algorithm for the Nevanlinna-Pick problems to solve an optimal robust stabilizer in multivariable feedback control systems. A sufficient condition for the existence of a robust stabilizer, in terms of the unstable poles of a given nominal plant and its uncertainty band function, is derived and an explicit formula for synthesizing the optimal robust stabilizer is also given.
