Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: A discrete free gas model is presented for numerical simulation of transients in liquids containing free gas. The model is also able to simulate vapor column separation during liquid transient flows in pipelines. The latter application may be the most significant attribute of the model.
