    Abstract: The set of equations and algorithm described in this paper can be used to develop force system synthesis programs which utilize existing mechanism dynamic analysis programs as a host. The algorithm can be used for any planar mechanism. Also it can be used on smart microprocessor-based interactive graphic terminals since it does not require having to reaccess the host computer program during the force system synthesis process.
