Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Parameter values required in a previous rock model are estimated using the invariant imbedding identification technique applied to a bit-tooth drop test. Sequential data generated during the identification is relevant to the adequacy of the model and may suggest possible enhancement of the rock description.
