    Abstract: An analysis is presented for the laminar squeezing flow of an incompressible power-law fluid between parallel plane annuli. The results obtained are based on the thin-film approximation, and negligible fluid-inertia. Analytic expressions for the load capacity of the squeeze film and its thickness-time relation are presented.
