description abstractUsing the moving-singularity finite-element method described in Part 1 of this paper, several problems of dynamic crack propagation in finite bodies have been analyzed. Discussions of the effects of wave interactions on the dynamic stress-intensity factors are presented. The obtained numerical results are compared with the corresponding infinite domain solutions and other available numerical solutions for finite domains.
