| description abstract | Transient fluid flow caused by power failure to pumps or by accidental flow stoppage in offshore piping systems may be significant. This paper discusses analysis procedures with particular emphasis on an efficient and convenient means of handling the transient behavior of the turbopump. The interaction of the turbomachine with the piping and other appurtenances in the system is also discussed. | |
