Abstract: A new algorithm, which is a modification of the successive over-relaxation method, has been applied to the inviscid compressible blade-to-blade flow problem. When this procedure was used, an improvement in convergence of the numerical process was obtained with a reduction of computing time by a factor of 2. This technique offers another advantage of obtaining convergence where other methods might have been unsuccessful.
