    Abstract: Failures of two fire extinguishers are examined in this paper detailing circumstances, laboratory examination, and analysis of failure. Both failures resulted in serious injury to the individual handling the extinguisher at time of failure. Both failures could have been prevented by implementation of well-known technology.
