description abstract | An experiment was conducted in a sophomore level computer science course to determine if knowledge of LOGO would be beneficial for students studying FORTRAN programming. The performance of students who were taught six hours of LOGO was compared to that of others who did not know LOGO. The results showed rather conclusively that LOGO was beneficial for learning FORTRAN for students who had no previous computer programming experience. | |
