description abstractThis paper proposes a thermal metamaterial based on the theory of thermodynamics transformation, which can achieve uniform temperature distribution. The required anisotropic thermal conductivity is theoretically derived. This thermal metamaterial structure is achieved by alternating aluminum and polyimide of different lengths. The temperature distribution under the condition of different convective heat transfer coefficients was simulated and compared with pure aluminum. The simulation and experimental results show that the metamaterial significantly reduced the non-uniformity of the temperature distribution.
