Abstract: The fully developed forced convection with H1 and/or H2 conditions in a semi-elliptic duct is studied. Such ducts model conduits attached to a flat surface and etched microfluidic channels. Due to differences in materials, the duct wall may be highly conductive (H1) or poorly conductive (H2) or a mixture of both. This paper presents analytic small aspect ratio asymptotic solutions and tables of Poiseuille and Nusselt numbers for various aspect ratios and boundary conditions.
