Abstract: The current discussion is presented to increase the awareness among the readers of ASME Journal of Heat Transfer. Comments are presented on the paper by Imtiaz et al. [1], where the authors investigated the influences of porous medium and stagnation point flow on ferrofluid flow past a variable-thicked sheet. Correction for the definition of the stream function (ψ) is given. These correct relations of the stream function (ψ) satisfies the continuity equation. In addition, correction for the first boundary condition is given.
