ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Numerical Computation and Validation of Two-Phase Flow Downstream of a Gas Turbine Combustor Dome Swirl Cup
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The two-phase axisymmetric flow field downstream of the swirl cup of an advanced gas turbine combustor is studied numerically and validated against experimental Phase-Doppler Particle Analyzer ...
Calculation of Two-Phase Flow in Gas Turbine Combustors
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: A method is presented for computing steady two-phase turbulent combusting flow in a gas turbine combustor. The gas phase equations are solved in an Eulerian frame of reference. The two-phase ...
Coupled Lagrangian Monte Carlo PDF–CFD Computation of Gas Turbine Combustor Flowfields With Finite-Rate Chemistry
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: A coupled Lagrangian Monte Carlo Probability Density Function (PDF)-Eulerian Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technique is presented for calculating steady three-dimensional turbulent reacting flow ...
