ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Heat Transfer and Pressure Investigation of Dimple Impingement
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Heat transfer and pressure results of an inline array of round jets impinging on a staggered array of dimples are reported with the consideration of various geometric and parametric effects; ...
Unsteady Effect in a Nozzled Turbocharger Turbine
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The unsteady behavior of a nozzled turbocharger turbine under pulsating flow conditions has been studied experimentally in a cold flow test facility that replicates engine pulses. The results ...
Heat Transfer Measurements in an Annular Cascade of Transonic Gas Turbine Blades Using the Transient Liquid Crystal Technique
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Heat transfer measurements have been made in the Oxford University Cold Heat Transfer Tunnel employing the transient liquid crystal technique. Complete contours of the heat transfer coefficient ...
