ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Melt Processing of Bulk YBaCuO Superconductors With High Jc
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: There are several melt processes which promote high Jc in bulk YBaCuO. A comparison of various melt processes was performed in this study. It was found that size control of the Y2 BaCuO5 ...
Numerical Analysis of Gas-Particle Two-Phase Subsonic Freejets
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper describes a numerical analysis of gas-droplet two-phase subsonic free jets in the axisymmetric system. Thermal coupling through heat transfer to droplets, as well as momentum coupling ...
A Transformation Method With Two Parameters for Constrained Optimal Control Problems
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: A transformation method with two parameters is described which can be applied to nonconvex optimal control problems with constraints, does not present numerical difficulties, and has a rapid ...
