description abstractThe boundary-layer expansions (inner and outer expansions) of the flow between parallel streams of incompressible, immiscible fluids involve different perturbation parameters (Reynolds numbers) for each layer. Higher-order terms of these expansions have been solved and the correct form of the third boundary condition for the boundary layer (the zeroth order) problem is obtained. Some numerical results based on this condition are presented.
