| description abstract | The visioplasticity method was used to obtain the complete analysis of stress and strain in axisymmetric extrusions of lead and aluminum at different die angles and friction conditions. The friction losses and effectiveness of the die were determined. A criterion for the selection of the die angle was outlined. A comparison between a sigmoidal and conical die based on the velocity field and friction losses was made. | |
