Abstract: A three-dimensional theory of superplasticity is developed, based on the requirement that in the uniaxial case it shall reduce to the Packer-Sherby law. Analytical solutions are obtained for steady extrusions through a rectangular orifice and a circular orifice. A numerical example is given.
