description abstractThe model used by the authors for comparisons with measurement is based on the Reynolds equation in the thin film and on a simplified equation of the flow inside the feeding groove. The model of the feeding groove flow does not use its physical depth (9.5 mm) but a modified “effectiveâ€‌ one that is around 300 خ¼m (corresponding to 2 or 2.5 times the radial clearance of the SFD).
