| description abstract | Physical model tests have been performed with the aim of investigating the pull-in loads required to move a jumper assembly across the seabed. A total of 41 tests were completed with various assembly configurations, using two different types of sediment: sand and clay. It is shown that physical model testing is a viable procedure for studying prototype pull-in loads for relevant field situations. | |
