| description abstract | Greetings. It is my challenge, pleasure, and honor to be the new editor (July 1, 2001–June 30, 2006) of the Transactions of the ASME, Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power. Retiring Technical Editor Hal Nelson is advising me as I get started. I thank him and Ted Okiishi, Editor of our companion publication, Journal of Turbomachinery, for their help and continued support. Each issue of the Journal is put together in New York ASME headquarters by Production Coordinator Judy Sierant. The Editorial Assistant is Liz Langston (my wife) who will keep me on schedule. I look forward to working with and being advised by the Journal’s experienced team of Associate Editors, and the leadership of ASME technical committees and divisions. | |
