description abstractIn this paper, the displacement boundary value problem of a piezoelectric material plane with an elliptic hole is studied. As the permittivity of the medium in the hole is far less than that of the piezoelectric material, the electric induction of the medium is negligible. An exact solution is obtained. Its application to the inclusion problem has been given. The components of the stress tensor are discussed.
