| description abstract | The modified Findley line is proposed by using ultimate strength and endurance limit as parameters to obtain a good initial approximation of an acceptable design. Comparing with experimental data, the modified Findley line could be a strong candidate for fatigue design criterion for parts made of a nonferrous materials, and be conservative for ferrous material parts. | |
