    Abstract: In this paper we use a new general method which allows us to verify all known overconstrained mechanism classes, and to correct errors in several previously published overconstraint conditions. Also, we present a general classification of overconstrained mechanisms, and use our methodology to discover new overconstrained mechanisms. Examples of the input-output curves for the new mechanisms are presented.
